		The Diagonal Line by Turret occurs on two positions on vignette plate 2A, R10/1 & R10/2, which positions can be distinguished by both the angle of the diagonal line and its position in respect of the turret. The variety apparently changes over time (as one would expect), but generally in 10/2, the angle is more extreme, the diagonal does not touch the turret and the bottom of the diagonal is lower on the turret; additionally, there is a confirmatory dot in the "notch" to the right of the most extreme left-hand building. Se-Tenant pairs are the best way to collect the variety & very scarce & highly desirable.

		The Diagonal Line by Turret occurs on two positions on vignette plate 2A, R10/1 & R10/2, which positions can be distinguished by both the angle of the diagonal line and its position in respect of the turret. The variety apparently changes over time (as one would expect), but generally in 10/2, the angle is more extreme, the diagonal does not touch the turret and the bottom of the diagonal is lower on the turret; additionally, there is a confirmatory dot in the "notch" to the right of the most extreme left-hand building. Se-Tenant pairs are the best way to collect the variety & very scarce & highly desirable.

		The Jewish internment camp was established to house refugees that had tried to enter Palestine illegally on the Atlantic, one of 3 ships that had sailed from the Romanian port of Tulcia to Palestine carrying Jewish refugees and been stopped by the British in Nov 1940. The passengers from the other 2 ships as well as 100 passengers from the Atlantic were put on the Patria by the British for shipment to Mauritius, which was blown up by the Hagannah (to stop the sailing) w/the loss of 250 lives. The remainder of the Atlantic passengers were nevertheless transported to the Beau Bassin internment camp, where they remained for the rest of the War.
